A Widow

I became a widow on January 13, 2019.

One moment we were a happy family of four and the next moment I was a single parent of two daughters.

My husband, commonly referred to as Man-Farmer, suffered a massive and fatal heart attack after snow blowing our long driveway when we had received 9 inches of snow.

He was a seemingly healthy man of 46 years.

He rode a bicycle 6 miles to work when the temperatures were warm.

He ate well and didn’t drink or smoke.

He is greatly missed…

his corny jokes

his love of bad horror films

his great cooking skills

his smile

his green eyes.

His greatest achievement in life was being a father to his two daughters.

Yet, he never even realized how great he was at that job.

He lives forever in our hearts…
